Fix what others say about EKU by publishing the right fact first

Buyers and AI assistants believe the page that is there, and some of those pages are years old.

What does an AI assistant say today about who owns EKU and how many sites it runs?

Third-party pages reviewed 17 September 2026

What you are seeingAI assistants and buyers read what third parties wrote years ago. Where two sources disagree, the assistant picks one, or says nothing. Each card says what is wrong, where, what to change it to, and how.

A retired term still describes EKU

Where it shows. Page titles and descriptions on ekupd.com, and so in Google's result for EKU's own name.

Change it to. "Controls and monitoring for mixed-brand generator fleets".

  1. Open the page settings in the website editor.
  2. Replace the title and the description with the text in the on-page pack.
  3. In Search Console, inspect the URL and request indexing.
  4. Check the result again after two weeks.

The number of installations differs

Where it shows. A partner's release says "over 1,000"; regional press and the investor material say "over 500".

Change it to. The one figure leadership picks.

  1. Put the chosen figure on EKU's own About page and LinkedIn page first.
  2. Write to the partner's communications contact and ask for the release to be corrected.
  3. Press articles cannot be edited: a newer EKU page with the right figure is what search engines and AI assistants pick up.

The idle-reduction figure differs

Where it shows. Trade press of two different years states 90% and 80%.

Change it to. The figure and the wording of the confirmed case.

  1. Publish the case page with its method and dates.
  2. Link to it from the product page.
  3. Use the same figure in every profile and post from that day.

Titles and spokesperson differ

Where it shows. Trade press and the investor material name leadership roles differently.

Change it to. The titles as leadership states them, and one named spokesperson.

  1. Update the leadership section of the website.
  2. Update each person's own LinkedIn headline.
  3. Send the same line with every press contact from now on.

Marketing lead · Waits for: Leadership's decision

Ownership is out of date

Where it shows. Business directories still show the former shareholder.

Change it to. The ownership statement leadership wants in public.

  1. Open each directory's company profile and use its "update" or "claim this profile" form.
  2. Attach the same one-paragraph statement to each request.
  3. Add the statement to the About page, so directories and AI assistants have a source to cite.
  4. Check each directory again after thirty days.

Strategic conclusion

A wrong fact on someone else's page is corrected by publishing the right one on EKU's own.

Commercial implication

Each corrected fact removes one reason for an AI assistant to hedge or to skip EKU.
